Privacy Policy

Paw Perfect is a pet-care reminder and record-keeping application designed to help you keep track of important care for your pets. This Privacy Policy explains what information Paw Perfect handles, where it is stored, and how it is used.

1. Information you provide

Depending on how you use Paw Perfect, you may enter information such as your pet's name, species, breed, birthday, weight, veterinary information, vaccinations, treatments, grooming records, medication information, care dates, notes and documents.

This information is used to provide the pet profiles, care reminders and records you request.

2. Google Sign-In

Paw Perfect allows you to sign in with your Google Account. When you use Google Sign-In, Google may provide basic account information such as your name, email address and profile picture so that Paw Perfect can identify your account and keep your information associated with the correct user.

Paw Perfect does not sell your Google Account information and does not use it for advertising.

3. Google Calendar

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, Paw Perfect requests permission to view and edit calendar events so that it can place your Paw Perfect care reminders in your Google Calendar.

Calendar access is used only to create, update and remove calendar events corresponding to care reminders that you manage in Paw Perfect. Paw Perfect treats your Paw Perfect records as the source of truth; changing a calendar event does not change the corresponding Paw Perfect care record.

Paw Perfect does not sell Google Calendar data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Google Calendar data is not used for purposes unrelated to the features you explicitly request.

4. Where your data is stored

Paw Perfect is designed as a browser-first application. Pet profiles, care records and local synchronization information are stored in your browser on your device using browser storage. This means your pet-care records are not intended to be stored in a Paw Perfect cloud database.

Google Calendar authorization information needed for an active browser session is kept locally in the browser session and is not intended to be stored as a permanent Paw Perfect database record.

If you clear your browser data, change devices or use a different browser, locally stored Paw Perfect records may not be available there unless you have another copy. Google Account and Google Calendar data remain subject to Google's own policies and settings.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information or pet information. We do not share your pet-care records with advertisers. Information may be processed by third-party services only where necessary to provide a feature you have chosen, such as Google authentication or Google Calendar integration, and those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Notifications

Paw Perfect may use browser notification features, where supported and where you grant permission, to remind you about upcoming pet care. You can control notification permissions through your browser or device settings.

7. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information handled by Paw Perfect. No website, application or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and Google Account.

8. Your choices

You can stop using Paw Perfect at any time. You can disconnect Google Calendar access through the app and revoke Google Account permissions through your Google Account settings. You can also remove locally stored Paw Perfect information by clearing the application's browser data.

9. Children's privacy

Paw Perfect is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to provide their own consent to online services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling purposes.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Paw Perfect changes or when legal or security requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
